Mineral silica base

Food-grade diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring mineral powder made from fossilized diatoms, and it is mostly amorphous silica. We use it as the base that carries the active ingredients in most of our formulas, and we also sell it on its own.

We list it here because it is on our labels, and an ingredients page should show you everything in the bottle.

Activated Charcoal

Activated Charcoal

Digestive binding support

Activated charcoal is carbon treated to make it extremely porous, which lets it bind to substances in the digestive tract. It is traditionally used to support everyday digestive comfort and fresher breath.

Because it binds broadly, give it at least two hours apart from medications or other supplements. It is not a substitute for emergency care — if your pet has eaten something toxic, call your veterinarian or ASPCA Animal Poison Control right away.
